Bell Nexus: A Flying Taxi

If you had watched the science fiction movie, Avatar, you might have noticed the imaginary helicopter and regretted that if it were real. However, you will not have to wait for a long time to see this concept helicopter in real shape. Bell, a Texas-based firm, showcased the prototype of its air taxi, named Bell Nexus, at CES 2019 in Las Vegas. They demonstrated the interior of this air taxi model at the same show last year. It indicates that the company has made significant progress in this aircraft and is likely to launch it as soon as possible. If everything goes well then it might be seen testing sooner than the expected time. There is a possibility that the air taxi will be inaugurated at the middle of the 2020. Those days are not far away when people will take air ride like car and motor ride using smartphone apps. Thanks to this advanced technology, we will not have to sit hours after hours in traffic jam.
Bell Nexus is a hybrid-electric air taxi that can take off and land vertically. It has six tilting ducked fans, three on each side. This vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) technology will help the vehicle to move through the air safely. It has five seats, including a pilot cockpit. It weighs around 6000 pound and can cover 150 miles with the highest speed of 150 miles per hour.
